American Renaissance Revival Ebonized Side Chair, circa 1870, in the manner of Pottier and Stymus, with shaped crestrail centering a medallion after Clodion beneath a Greek anthemion and flanked by winged griffins above a buttoned upholstered back and flat seat now covered in azure brocade above a shaped seatrail with parcel-gilt Aesthetic tooling above two front shaped paw feet on casters. 37.5" H x 20" W x 23" D; seat: 15" H.
