Irene Zevon (American, 1918-2006), "Freedom of Flight", Lithograph in Colors, 1959, signed and dated lower right, titled lower center, and numbered edition "8/10" lower left, ebonized wood frame. Image: 21" H x 14.5" W; frame: 27.25" H x 20.5" W. Note: Nahum Tschacbasov and Irene Zevon were residents of New York City's famed Chelsea Hotel. Tschacbasov was a member of the Expressionist Art group "The Ten" alongside Mark Rothko. He taught at the Art Students League and married Zevon, a former student of his.
