Azriel Zelig Segal (Israeli, 1933-2015) Modern Israeli art abstract freeform brass sculpture, signed "Z. Segal" near edge. 16.5" H x 15.5" W. Provenance: Property from a 900 Park Avenue estate. Note: Segal received a scholarship to Bezalel Academy of Art and Design from David Ben-Gurion. After earning his degree, he headed the gold and silver smith department at the Academy until 1968. His works are in permanent collections at museums across the world including the Museum of Modern Art, New York and the Israel Museum, Jerusalem.
