Description
Ramsay Richard Reinagle (English, 1775-1862), oil on canvas, depicting still life of fruit with setter dog sporting scene at right, bearing artist plaque with name and dates at bottom of frame. Image: 16.5" H x 26.25" W; frame: 24.5" H x 34.25" W x 2.75" D. Minor frame rubbing evident along top edge. Provenance: From the estate of American film producer Martin Bregman (Scarface, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon). Removed from his Park Avenue apartment decorated by Sister Parish and Albert Hadley.
